Cross Creek
Wow! 2 Trips in 2 days and I managed to play a gig with my band The Grind in the same weekend.
After Loyalhannah (3-16-03), Nick, Alan and I paddled a creek in Goulds, Ohio called Cross Creek.
This stream consisted of moving water and class I rapids. No real difficulties except for a downed tree in the water. This took place in a "S-Turn" about a mile into the run. We ended up working our way over it in one spot. This run was in a wooded setting.
Note: There was a gauge at the GKL area. Part of it was on a tree, the other in the stream. We estimated about 2'. (good level) Wouldn't want to run much lower.
