Not runnable at this level. There was only trickle on the spill-way at Donegal Lake. Directly below the lake did not look navigable due to lack of size and overgrown vegetation. There was a pull-off on river left where 130 crossed the stream. This looked like a good put-in. Then nothing was visible until T405 (Hoods Mill Road). After a few tributaries, the stream was small with chutes. A limbless tree blocked one chute. May not be a concern at runnable levels. This section did not appear to be overly steep. At the bottom of the hill there was a left turn that proceeded to a concrete bridge. Directly above were large trees preventing passage. I believe the steepest section is just above this point. Below, there were riffles and the width was minimal. The whitewater section of about 2 miles probably ends here. I was able to get an occasional look before the confluence with Loyalhannah (at Darlington). Size was tiny with minimal gradient. Wood was evident. The surrounding area was rural and forested with occasional homes. Based on limited scouting, the first two miles may be intense after heavy rainfall due to the small size. Be alert! As a guide for a runnable level look for Loyalhannah at Kingston to be 5+ feet. Check for spill-way flow at Donegal Lake.
